Akwa United goal scorer in its 1-0 home victory over Shooting Stars of Ibadan, Olimide Ojedeji has expressed excitement over the teams' feat.
Expressing his joy to Inside Out Premier League at the U J Esuene Stadium in Calabar, the tall forward said he hopes to score more goals.
"I feel very happy getting the only goal that gave us the victory, since I started playing, I have not being scoring but today I have score and hope to continue scoring goals for the team," Ojedeji said.
On the team's inability to score goals, he said, "you cannot utilize all the scoring chances you get during the ninety minutes of play, the exciting thing is that we won the game. We play better in away matches, so I am optimistic that we will get something good out the game. If we are not able to win the game, I believe we will get a draw," Odejedi added.
