Sekibo George
The wife of Sen. George Sekibo, representing Rivers East District in the National Assembly, has been kidnapped in Port Harcourt.
Sekibo's wife, Mrs Asime George-Sekibo, was kidnapped along East-West road while returning from the University of Port Harcourt.
Mrs George-Sekibo was driving a Hummer Jeep along the road when she was ambushed by her abductors on Thursday.
It was also gathered that the hoodlums whisked her off with three other women and a child who were in her company.
"Her jeep was abandoned on the road while the kidnappers took them away in their own vehicle, '' a source at the crime scene told Sahara Reporters on FRIDAY.
Mr Ben Ugwuegbulam, Rivers state Police command spokesman, confirmed the abduction but decline to provide details.
" I have not yet gotten the details of the incident. I am waiting for it. I will furnish you with the details later."
