Imo state University (IMSU) has commenced her 2012/2013 post UTME screening for all candidates who have chosen the University as their first or second choice for the 2012/2013 session. The exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday June 25 to Wednesday June 27, 2012.
Who is eligible for the IMSU 2012/2013 post UTME?
All candidates that scored 180 and above in the JAMB except in the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Law which must be 200 and above are eligible to write the post UTME screening exam.

PAYMENT FOR THE REGISTRATION
Walk into any of the participating banks and request to make payment for IMSU post UTME e-scratch card or paper scratch card based on the options below, you will be required to pay N2,500 which will cover the application fee, Screening and Result Checking.
PROCESS FLOW OF E-SCRATCH CARD FOR IMSU POST UTME
FIRST METHOD:
• GO ONLINE TO (Imo State University - IMSU Post-UTME Portal (http://u.theinfostrides.com/imsu-postutme)) to buy scratch cards online, click the "Buy Pin Online" link on the site.
• A page displays for you to generate your pin
• The pin will be activated after a successful payment transaction with your ATM card Login with the generated pin for the Post UTME.
SECOND METHOD:
• Go online to (Imo State University - IMSU Post-UTME Portal (http://u.theinfostrides.com/imsu-postutme)) Select "Buy Pin From Bank" link and print generated pin slip
• Walk into any branch of Zenith Bank Plc or First Bank PLC nationwide with the slip to make payment Bank will post payment to activate your pin Login with the generated pin for the post UTME.
THE PAPER SCRATCH CARD OPTION
First choice Post UTME scratch card are available for those who reside in Owerri or have difficulties in obtaining the e-scratch card receipt:
OWERRI ONLY: IMSU Microfinance Bank
• On obtaining the scratch card, proceed to any internet facility, Logon to (Imo State University - IMSU Post-UTME Portal (http://u.theinfostrides.com/imsu-postutme)) on the home page, select your faculty and department before you enter your JAMB score/Registration number and your scratch card number against the field provided.
• Click on logon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the form.
FINAL STEP TO IMSU POST UTME
Confirm your entries before clicking on submit. After clicking on submit, print the form as evidence of your registration and bring it along to the screening venue.
I learnt that the management of the Imo State University has shifted the date for 2012/2013 post UTME from Monday June 25 to Wednesday June 27 to July 18, 2012.

Log on with your JAMB registration number and the generated Pin/Scratch card Pin, follow onscreen instructions and select the option for Direct Entry, complete the form and print two (2) copies. Submit one to admissions office and keep one for record purposes.
DEADLINE: REGISTRATION PORTAL WILL BE SHUT DOWN AT 12:00 MID NIGHT ON SUNDAY 15TH JULY, 2012.
Candidates are required to come with the following items for the screening exercise
• 2012/2013, original examination UTME result slip showing candidates photograph.
• HB Pencil, eraser and a ball point pen.
