Nothing is hidden forever... The Film and Video Marketers Association, Idumota, in Lagos handed out a ban to Nollywood top players, five of them, several years back. Unknown to many, while actors like RMD, Kenneth Okonkwo, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and Genevieve Nnaji were banned for charging excessive fees at that time, one director/producer was on the list. That person was Tchidi Chikere. According to a report, following the story of a crash in his marriage, sources at Idumota have disclosed that the Marketers specifically banned Tchidi on the allegation that he was "too close" to some married actresses and that his action in that regard was bringing Nollywood into disrepute.
According to the source, it was only Tchidi's ban that was not explained to the public at the time the action was taken due to its peculiar circumstances. Five years later, the story is now coming out... I guess we all just have to be careful.

I hope they unban him soon.
adultery? thats so LOWISH of him.
I do not like that chidi of a guy.he annoys me with his sort of acting.sometimes he acts well, but sometimes he is just so weird.
That serves him right, the ban is not enough punishment for him
he needs our prayers cause his case is getting out of hand.they might be doing him from his village.
It is so shameful of him to have been banned over such.
Tchidi disgraced me cos i was actually his fan before this.
Adultery is too common with those actors.if you know you don't want to marry yet no one is forcing you
that is a nice step for the man's bad behaviour.he won't do it again
Tchidi really have to change if he still wants to be worthy of nollywood.Adultery is a big offense
