Eligibility:
-be an international student
-not be a citizen of Australia or New Zealand
-have been offered a place in a higher degree research program at an Australian RMIT campus commencing in 2013
-have been offered a place in a program included on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students
- have been offered a place that is not conditional on meeting English language requirements study
-full time in 2013
-have achieved excellent academic results meet the Department of Immigration and Citizenship's international student visa requirements – this includes purchasing and maintaining a standard Overseas Student Health Cover policy approved by the Commonwealth Government of Health and Ageing (RUIRS pays for the Health Cover policy) be studying in one of RMIT's identified research strength areas

Scholarship Description: If you are an international student accepted into an RMIT higher degree by research the RMIT University International Research Scholarship (RUIRS) can provide tuition fees, the cost of an Overseas Student Health Cover policy and approximately AUD$23,427 per year towards living costs.The scholarship provides tuition fees, the cost of an Overseas Student Health Cover policy and a living allowance of approximately AUD$23,427 (2011 value) per year for the duration of the program. (This is normally three years for a research doctorate degree and two years for a research masters degree.)
