(http://edge.punchng.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/UNIABUJA-logo.jpg)Students of University of Abuja on Wednesday blocked the road outside the permanent site of the institution, protesting against the Federal Government's suspension of four courses at their school.
The institution is located on Airport Road, Abuja.
The expressway is one of the major entry routes into Abuja and also leads to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
They are reported to have prevented access to the school.
The National Universities Commission had on Tuesday suspended the teaching of Medicine, Veterinary medicine, Engineering and Agriculture at the institution as they failed to get accredited.
Also, many students in these departments have been unable to graduate from them for years.
The students later moved away from the highway.
