Role Summary/Purpose:
• The Repairs Service Manager will act as the key liaison with customers, the Fulfillment team and Global Ops service managers on repair services delivery.
• In this role, you will be strategically located in the Regions and/or Shops and will report into SS Africa Portfolio Leader position.
Essential Responsibilities: – Internal Own regional financial performance, including regional repairs sales and receivables pacing for PGS Profit and Loss (P&L) – Develop and drive repairs growth strategies – understand competitive environment – Provide team leadership and close oversight to ensure that all facets of repair delivery and support are being evaluated and fed back to our fulfillment and region leadership teams – Participate in customer outage planning 5Q reviews
Qualifications/Requirements: – Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science – Minimum 5 years of technical, services and/or parts / repair experience – Minimum 5 years energy experience

Desired Characteristics: – Internal Prior process and operational experience as BB and/or Parts, Repair or Services Leadership experience – Master's Degree in Business Administration or technical area – Strong working knowledge of the Power Generation Repair and Service offerings – Prior experience working with Gas and Steam Turbines – Ability to influence multiple stakeholders – Ability to define and lead change – Prior experience in the Parts or Repairs area, preferably with GE Energy
