WARRI—FORMER Labour Party, LP, candidate for Warri North in the Delta State House of Assembly, 2011 general elections, Mr. Adanse Felix, has appealed to President Goodluck Jonathan to grant state pardon to his former boss, former governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, for him to contribute to national growth.
Felix, in an open letter, argued that Nigeria needed the wealth of experience of Alamieyeigha to succeed as a nation in the face of the Boko Haram scourge.
He said: "This call becomes necessary and imperative as the Nigerian nation is in dire need of a patriotic man like Alamieyeseigha, to straighten things up in the country."
