I don't support the call by the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria for every Christian to carry gun to defend themselves against Boko Haram attacks. To me, this call is against the teachings of Christ who stands for peace, love and not vengeance. That is what Holy Week stands for because Christ came to the world to save sinners and not instigate his followers against those who attack them. Instead, Nigerians should pray without ceasing for the members of the sect to repent. Also, the government too should rise up to its responsibilities before things get out of hand.
