Dutch Eredivisie side, VVV-Venlo are staving off interest for their Nigerian forward, Uche Nwofor from top European clubs.
SuperSport.com has been informed that the biggest interest in Nwofor comes from Russian giants, CSKA Moscow but Venlo are not yet open to selling their striker.
Apart from CSKA Moscow, there is interest from England, Germany and Spain.
VVV-Venlo chairman, Hai Berden, lifted the lid that Nwofor is a possible CSKA target but that the Russian club are yet to make a move for the Nigerian striker.
"We have a good relationship with CSKA and they are aware of Nwofor, but have not yet made an attempt to sign him. It is still too early. But I wouldn’t exclude the possibility of a future multi-million deal," Berden said.
Nwofor has also stated that he is in the dark over a possible switch to CSKA.
The modest Dutch side are currently placed 16th in the 18-team Eredivisie log with 25 points and the club are keen to keep their Nigerian forward to help them battle relegation till the end of this season.
Nwofor joined VVV-Venlo in August 2011 and scored in his debut against PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch top flight.
