Nigerian pop star and MOBO award winner 'Ayodeji 'Wizkid' Balogun has popped up on MTV Iggy's website as a nominee for 'MTV Iggy's Artiste of the Week'.
Wizkid has been nominated alongside French Indie Euro-electro group Pony Pony Run Run, Japanese duo Sigh, UK pop singer Neon Hitch and Mexican Psych-Rock group Bam Bam.
The act(s) with the most views will be featured on the MTV Iggy homepage with an extensive interview.
Other Nigerian acts that have featured as MTV Iggy artiste of the week included D'banj and Bez. Both lost out.

Wizkid deserves any possible nomination he gets now.he has paid his dues that is why he is doing well.
He is getting recognised all over the world.he should keep his eyes on his goals so he won't fall on the way.
he is always associated with MTV.he is doin well so i expect this news of nominations...his head is full of music.
