The state airline said on Monday that its Facebook page has been hacked and the Gulf kingdom's internet crime division is investigating.
Gulf Air said the site was defaced for "political purposes" but gave no further details.
The carrier's logo was replaced by an image of jailed anti-government activist Abdulhadi al-Khawaja, who has been on hunger strike for two months.
