| credits: File copyThe entire occupants of Block 60, Festac Extension, Amuwo Odofin, Mile 2 (Lagos), wish to draw your attention to the dilapidated and dangerous state of a high tension electricity pole in our compound, which may fall down anytime now, especially if the kind of hurricane that caused a lot of destruction in some part of the state on Feb 13 2012 re-occur. However, we fervently praying against it, but 'a stitch in time they say saves nine.'
But it is suffice to mention that PHCN officials in Amuwo-Odofin and Okota-Isolo had been verbally notified, but it seems they are waiting for disaster to happen before they respond. In the light of the above, we hereby solicit for the quick intervention of your management in replacing the pole to 33ft high tension concrete pole. Please find attached, the photographs showing the present state of the high tension pole.

This has always been the prblem with this counrty, lack of proper mintainance of facilities. I am sure it will break and fall by any subsequent hurricane before they will come for repair
This is ordinary depreciation, let them meet the PHCN so that something ccan be done about it o time. it is normal for power facilities to go bad, the thing is to be fixed.
