Role Synopsis:
At Baker Hughes, this position is responsible for ensuring that Baker Hughes operations exceed expectations and customers' requirements. To maximise company's market share and profits by facilitating cross product line solutions when applicable. To maintain and grow the company's status as the recognised leader within the oil service industry.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Provide high level of support to the product line(s), technical selling support, key field product applications support, well prognosis and/or completion product performance support.
• May be top engineering/technical position in region or area.
• Identify new product opportunities and development strategies.
• Interface with product line management and local management to support direction and strategies to best capture market opportunities. (Field Service Personnel not included.)
• Handle special projects as assigned.
• Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 5+ years related experience.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
• Completion of supervisory/leadership training preferred.
• High level of knowledge about technology and proper application of tools within three or more product lines.
• Thorough understanding of down hole hydraulics and rig operations.
• Proficient use of computer based programs related to application of products.
• Ability to supervise and lead employees.
• Good communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Good analytical skills.
