The former super eagles captain who just returned to Nigeria from a foreign trip took a few minutes to give his own side of the story about his marriage. Sources have claimed that the couple are battling with infidelity issues and may be heading to the court soo.
They had claimed that his wife, Nkechi did stuffs with several Lagos big boys while Okocha himself has been dribbling and scoring free-kicks in between the thighs of some society girls in Lagos.
Below is what Okocha has to say about his marriage:
"I just got into Nigeria at the weekend, and I attended the AY Comedy Show together with my wife on Easter Sunday," he said. The master-dribbler concluded thus: "Our marriage is still strong, and all those stories are nothing but fabricated rumours."
Hmmm! Time will tell. But I hope they well if the marital issues are the works of rumor mongers...
Rumor mongering, typical in Nigeria.
Both couples should remember, marriage is the only institution that requires giving and compromise, and when you feel you have given enough; marriage ask you for more.
I think both should take a hall pass:
One week off from marriage and write honestly their sins outside marriage and other things they hold against the other party
Both will exchange it and read the confession and forgive each other.
Thank God it's a rumor
Jay jay baba carry go ooo
I hope the marriage is strong as he claimed. We will know more in the coming days. You can't hide the truth forever.
@charlly007,
I think there marriage it very strong.,..
Nice speech Okocha. Not all celeb marriage crash.
People should stop spreading dumb rumours.
J J Okocha is a very gentle individual.it would be very hard to see his marriage crumble.i've seen his wife and she looks responsible.
i thought as much.any marriage can collapse but people should not rumour what is not.it is nt acceptable.
i doubted it also when i heard the rumour.people just believe celebrity marriages MUST collapse.my take.
Okocha shouldn't have quit football early.
He is the reason for Nigeria's poor football state.
I wish him luck in his marriage sha.
