BENIN — Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has expressed sadness over the slow pace of work by contractors handling various projects for the state government and directed them to hasten their pace of work.
He specifically directed the contractor handling the Igarra -Ojirami-Damgbala-Uneme-Osu-Ososo Road in Akoko Edo Local Government Area to speedily complete the project.
The governor, who gave the directive when he paid an unscheduled visit to the project site at Igarra, yesterday, told the Operations Manager of Hartland Nigeria Limited, Bancod Laurent, that he was not happy with the slow pace of work because the rainy season was fast approaching.
