Title: Hackers issue new threat to Tunisia
Post by: iolsa on Apr 19, 2012, 05:00 PM
Tunis - Hackers from the Tunisian chapter of the international collective Anonymous have issued a new warning to the government against censoring the Internet.

The video released online on Wednesday threatens to release top secret information about the government and the dominant Islamist party Ennahda if it carries out plans to establish a commission to monitor the Internet.

In early April, the group released a video showing it had hacked  the email account of Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali.

The government called the attack immoral and said some of the mails shown were not genuine.

The Anonymous group is a loosely affiliated global network of hackers that have attacked websites from countries and companies around the world to protest their actions. - Sapa-AP
