In commemoration of Nigeria's 50th independence anniversary in Finland, Nigerians in Finland as part of the programmes lined up for the event, organised an independence anniversary banquet at Scandic Continental, Helsinki Finland on Saturday, 16th October, 2010 which featured awards of excellence to selected Nigerians and a Finn who have excelled in governance and their services to humanity.
