A Sunday Times report has revealed that Nigeria's representative on the World Cup hosting 24-man-strong FIFA committee, Amos Adamu, offered to sell his votes in the contest to host the 2018 World Cup.
The popular UK sunday newspaper has a video footage showing Adamu requesting for £500,000 for "a personal project" in return for his support to undercover reporters posing as US businessmen.
The football world body will decide the country that would host the 2018 and 2022 world cup on December 2nd 2010.

The Federation of International Football has suspended two executive committee members, Amos Adamu and Tahiti-born Reynold Temarii over allegations of corruption leveled against them.
The Sunday Times, a London newspaper had published a footage portraying Adamu and Temarii agreeing to accept bribes to sell their votes to countries bidding for the 2018 World cup. Adamu allegedly wanted $800,000 in return for his vote.
At an ongoing press conference in Zurich, Chairman of the FIFA Ethics Committee, Claudio Sulser said Adamu and Temarii would remain suspended until investigations are completed into the allegations against them.
He said FIFA has zero tolerance for corruption.
