Job Description
To meet IDC's growing demand for research and operational tools, IDC is expanding its global business in Africa by entering directly the West African market. The new positions will be located in Lagos, Nigeria.
Join the newest branch, and work with an international team dedicated to research,event and advisory services.
Responsibilities: – Meet financial targets for business; – Manage key customer relationships and actively develop new business opportunities on the WA market, coordinate sales activities of other team members; – Act as a leader, fostering a team environment while providing a vision for the team; – Assure on-time delivery of research and consulting; – Conduct research and consulting in area of expertise; – Actively develop new research, consulting and conference ideas; – Play an active role in promoting the success of the conference business; – Manage IDC WA operations, including timely delivery of financial and sales data in the required quality;
Desired Skills & Experience – Research management and client management skills; – People management experience and emotional maturity; – Familiarity with IT market developments and knowledge of the IT market in WA; – Established relationships with largest IT vendors would be an advantage; – Solid background in market research or consulting; – Good command of written and spoken English; – Strong commitment and loyalty; – Willingness to work in a growing and changing environment.
