Title: JAMB to announce Benchmark Cut-off Marks for 2012/2013 Post-UTME Exercises

Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently announced that the benchmark 2012/2013 cut-offs for entry into Higher Institutions in Nigeria will be available on 21th May. So many will ask what this announcement means.

The benchmark cut-off expected to be announced on 21th May is to officially specify the minimum cut-off required for entry into colleges of education, polytechnics and Universities. Last year, the cut-offs where as follows;

- College of Education: 160 and above
- Polytechnics: 170 and above
- State Universities: 180 and above
- Federal Universities: 200 and above
