Job Title: Senior Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation
Location: Ibadan
Job Profile:
• This position reports operationally to the Territorial Manager with a dotted line reporting line to the deputy manager M&E (ESMPIN) at the HQ. S/he will ensure that routin0 tracking data collection and documentation are utilised to showcase progress on success of the project indicators and interventions. S/he will ensure that data collected from state level implementation are collated and entered expeditiously in the web-based ESMPI N project management information system/DHIS and summaries included in all field activity quarter report submissions.
• S/he will furthermore oversee the tracking, analyzing and reporting of data on the various components of the ESMPIN project. The desired candidate will be required to implement th0 projects performance management plan which includes participating in studies, surveys and all related data and information collecting activities for the project. Collating data and conducting, monitoring visits to project sites in the relevant states in the supervisory region will be a key deliverable for this position.
• The job holder will also conduct data quality checks on all project data collated from the SFH-wide MIS and those entered into the DHIS from relevant states, track project performance indicator data related to relevant states and disseminate M&E data and information regularly to stakeholders. Building the capacity of SFH project partner organizations, CSOs/CBOs and oth0r stakeholders to implement M&E is also a requirement of this position.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Must possess a first degree in the Physical/Medical/Behavioral or Social Sciences.
• Must possess a minimum of three en years post NYSC working experience in implementing the monitoring and evaluation of health programmes.
• Must have considerable expertise in mixed-methods (qualitative and quantitative) M&E and research.
• Must have intermediate knowledge of SPSS or STAT or Epi-info/CSpro while the knowledge of DHIS.
• MS-Access or other compatible database software will be of added advantage.
• Must have experience in conducting monitoring visits, utilizing checklist and other tools including the ability to develop tools required for this position.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• Must have excellcl1t report writing skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
