PhD in Climate Change Economics is open: – to students from partner countries in West Africa (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal and Togo) and – holders of a Master II / DEA in Economics or equivalent.

Scholarship Description: The program receives financial support from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) through the WASCAL initiative (West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use) implemented by the Centre for Development Research (ZEF) at the University of Bonn. WASCAL fosters partnership between West African universities from Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Mali Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo and German universities.
