The Federal University of Technology, Owerri International Secondary School (FSO) is currently a day Secondary School situated at its temporary site within the University campus. Management of the University is desirous to develop a high quality school in International standard with excellent boarding facilities and therefore wishes to appoint an outstanding and dynamic person to lead the strategic development of the School.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• The successful candidates should have a good knowledge of ICT, ability to provide vision, plan and monitor implementation.
• The candidate should also have passion and drive to lead others as well as proven experience of social leadership and management.
• He/she will participate in staff recruitment, oversee the establishment and maintenance of high standards for both teachers and students in the schools.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The candidates must possess a good Honours Degree from a recognized university, an education/teaching certificate, must be a serving or retired Principal and must demonstrate ability to guide the Institution to international standard.
SALARY
The basic salary attached to this position, other allowances and benefits are as currently applicable to similar positions in other International Schools in the University system.
