About the Job:

Advans is looking for a Branch Manager who will be responsible for the good understanding and implementation of policies, methodologies and procedures in the branch. S/he will work under the supervision of the credit manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

•   Participate to the recruitment of client advisors, clients assistants, cashiers and others staff of the branch;

•   Train the client advisors, clients assistants and cashiers;

•   Supervise credit committees;

•   Contribute to identifying his/her replacement;

•   Monitor the loans repayment and supervise arrears recovery;

•   Make sure that the policies are understood and enforced in the branch and conduct regular internal controls;

•   Control operational expenses and, together with the operation manager, plan the recruitments and investments needed to expand the branch's operations.

Qualifications:

•   Master's degree in finance, accounting or business administration;

•   At least 2 years of significant professional experience, including at least one in a financial institution. An experience in a developing country will be appreciated;

•   Fluency in English;

•   Teaching skills, maturity, enthusiasm, ability to work independently, interpersonal, coaching, team work and management skills.
