Role Summary/Purpose:
As a member of the GE Africa Human Resources team and reporting into the Learning and Development Leader for GE Africa, the Learning and Development Manager will provide strategic leadership and expertise for Learning and Development throughout Western Africa.
Essential Responsibilities
• Lead training and development processes and initiatives such as assisting with training needs identification, content design, development delivery, training tracking, reporting and vendor relationships.
• Perform administrative duties and logistics associated with program delivery. This include preparation of pre-course and classroom materials and presentations, liaison for venues regarding accommodation requirements, catering, teaching supplies, invoicing etc., liaising with technical support / facilities (both internal and external) to obtain equipment as needed, ensuring that course materials are reproduced and delivered to the venue prior to the start of courses and arranging for settlement of course related invoices.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• At least 3 years of experience in learning and development
