LEADER of the Odua's Peoples Congress (OPC) Dr. Frederick Fasehun has tasked government at all levels on the porous security situation in the country. He gave this charge, while addressing a group on Security Consciousness and Awareness Conference organized by Sphinx Integrated Services Limited, in Lagos. According to him, the 2011 general elections which is around the conner may spell doom for the entire nation given the present state of insecurity in the country.

He also blamed the insecurity situation of the country partly on the inability of the government to provide adequate power supply to the people. He observed that most towns and villages are still crippling in the dark, a situation, he said, offers a good hideout for miscreants.
He noted that no government that has the interest of the people at heart would fold its hands while arms and ammunition are being imported into the country.
