Post by: TGD on Jun 02, 2012, 08:01 AM
IMO State University, Owerri, at the weekend graduated the first batch of 31 students (including Imo State representative of The Guardian, Charles Ogugbuaja) who underwent a three-month certificate course in Business Management and Entrepreneurship.

The programme was jointly organized by Consultancy Services Unit of the institution headed by Prof. Chinyere Ukaga and SEAN CUSSONS Consulting Group (Cally Cussons).

In his speech at the event, the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Bethram E. B. Nwoke said  the programme was conceptualised after considering the need to train those who hitherto did not have knowledge on how to run their businesses.

"Go and spread the light we have given you today," he admonished the graduands.
