We have confirmed that the spokesperson for the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation and former NTA presenter, Livi Ajuonuma, is among those who were aboard the ill-fated MD 83 airliner that crashed in the Lagos suburb earlier today.
Also reported to have been aboard was Amina Bugaje; son of late Chief of General Staff under Ibrahim Babangida, Ehime Aikhomu; and a businessman, Alhaji Ibrahim Damcida, from Biu.
The plane crashed in a Lagos suburb.
Eyewitnesses said it struck an electric pole before crashing into a two-story building in Iju area of Lagos, killing all passengers on board.
