Job Title: Principal FPSO Engineer

Purpose:
• The Engineer will act as guardian of the defined structural operations envelope of the FPSO and participate in the design of current and future projects in the DW offshore area and to offshore SPDC projects.
• SNEPCo DWP a busy and rapidly growing organisation aiming to effectively deliver TQ projects every time.
• We also aim to be recognized as a centre of excellence for deepwater project delivery within the Gulf of Guinea.
Accountabilities:
• Structural integrity including development of the scope of work for underwater inspection, assessment of the integrity based on the inspection results and recommending any remedial works.
• Carry out all necessary engineering analyses including global and structural analyses to reassess civil/marine facilities
• Carry out all necessary engineering analyses, including global analysis, structural Finite Element Analysis,
• Prepare drawings and technical/project specifications and datasheets for the FPSO including hull, risers and mooring systems in line with functional requirements as stated in the Basis of Design.
Experience and Qualifications:
• B.Sc./B.Eng in structural engineering, marine engineering or naval architecture with a minimum of 12 years' offshore structural engineering experience incorporating the following:
• A minimum of 8 years' design experience at level for studies and detailed designs of mooring systems
• A good understanding of Industry, DEPs and Shell Design Standards with the ability to challenge standards and current engineering practices
• Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team as well and to work independently with a minimum of supervision. The mooring engineer must have knowledge/skill level in HSSE and applications within the Oil and gas Industry.
• Working knowledge of the following software is mandatory: Orcaflex, Mathlab and ANSYS,
• Working knowledge of SACS, USFOS and COSMOS will be an advantage.
