Eligibility:Brazilian students coming to the UK for a sandwich PhD course must have completed at least one year of their PhD studies. This usually represents about 30%. Students will be spending twelve months in the UK carrying out research relevant to their PhD focus. This research needs to be agreed between the student, their supervisor in Brazil and the host university in the UK.

Scholarship Description: One year sandwich PhD scholarships are for Brazilian students to come to the UK to study for a sandwich PhD course.Sandwich PhD students will then need to contact these universities and discuss the possibility of a 12 month project. This discussion should include their supervisor at their home university and the proposed supervisor at the UK university. A student may wish to have this discussion with more than one university.
