Jagiellonian University offer Queen Jadwiga scholarship for Researchers and Graduate students from Central and Eastern Europe at Poland, 2012

Eligibility:The scholarship may apply for a graduate student or research worker in higher education in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, former Soviet Union and the Balkan countries.

Scholarship Description: Queen Jadwiga Fund was established to commemorate the great work of Queen Jadwiga, who spent the entire personal fortune to renew the Academy of Krakow, and thus initiated 600 years of continuous research and teaching at the Jagiellonian University. The objective of the Fund is to support researchers and graduate students from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, former Soviet Union countries and the Balkan countries, who in Krakow execute their research projects. The creators of the Fund are hoping that this initiative has come to strengthen ties and exchange between scholars of this part of Europe, and the University of Krakow and its research center will be as before radiating to the east and south.
