Division: Operational Support
Reports To: Manager-Fleet Management & Insurance
Job Summary:
Ensure that activities such as fleet utilization, repair and maintenance in assigned region effectively meet the organization's transportation needs and align with existing transportation policies and processes
Principal Functions:
Manage allocated vehicles and drivers to optimally and effectively address the transportation needs and priorities of Etisalat staff, visitors and consultants in assigned region
Ensure tool-of-trade vehicles are utilized in line with company policy in assigned region
Facilitate the processing of vehicle licences, renewals and other statutory registrations in assigned region
Maintain fuel records of vehicles to check and prevent fraud and ensure optimal utilization
Compile monthly reports on fuelling and maintenance for the attention of the Manager-Fleet Management & Insurance
Follow up with approved mechanical workshops on servicing and repair of Etisalat vehicles
Conduct monthly inspections of fleet and record findings for the attention of the Manager-Fleet Management & Insurance
Monitor fleet in assigned region through effective fleet administration; ensure compliance with safety rules, standards and regulations
Liaise with law enforcement agencies – such as the Nigerian Police and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) – on all fleet-related issues in assigned region
Attend team/ divisional/ departmental meetings as and when required
Provide guidance to and manage the performance of subordinates, e.g Fleet Assistant, drivers, etc
Oversee company facilities in assigned region and report any defects to the Manager-Facilities
Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager-Fleet Management & Insurance
Educational Requirements:
First degree or equivalent
Experience & Skills:
Between two (2) and five (5) years' directly relevant post-NYSC work experience
Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate expert-level fleet and facilities management experience
