Pls am not sure what to do,i bought jamb and direct entry form and i choose adekunle ajasin for both.am thinking to use my ATS3 Ican result to sit for d DE post but am not sure if addekunle ajasin is collecting ats3 ican result for direct entry for d year2012.pls call me 08179615637
These are the admission requirements of Adekunle Ajasin University. If you need specific information,I will advise you visit the university premises for concise info.
Admission is open to all suitably qualified persons regardless of intercourse, race, religion or place of birth. Admission is either by Entrance Examination (UTME) or by Direct Entry (DE).
1. Admission by Entrance Examination: UTME
Applicants must write the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) administered by JAMB and attain an acceptable standard there in Use of English and three other subjects relevant to their proposed courses of study.
Candidates must, in addition to attaining an acceptable standard in UTME, possess one of the following qualifications:
(a) Credits in five subjects (among them, English Language and Mathematics) relevant to the course and obtained at no more than two sittings in the Senior School Certificate (SSC) or the School Certificate/General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (SC/GCE O/level) or equivalent.
(b) Grade II Teacher's Certificate (TC II) with credit or merit passes in at least five subjects. (This is acceptable only in the Faculty of Education).
(c) NABTEB Qualifications.
A credit in Mathematics is required for all Science and Social Science courses, except where it is stated otherwise.
A credit in English Language is required for all courses.
2. Admission by Direct Entry (DE)
Applicants with one of the following qualifications may be considered for Direct Entry, admission:
(a) A minimum of five subjects passed at no more than two sittings, with at least two of them passed at the Principal or Advanced level of the GCE and the others at credit level in SSC/GCE/O level. No subject will be counted at both Ordinary and Advanced levels.
(b) Passes in two major subjects in the NCE, with SSC/ GCE/O-level credits or equivalents in THREE other subjects (mainly for Education Courses). Education may be accepted as a third A/Level subject for those taking courses in Education.
(c) A good first degree holder who has completed the National Youth Service Corps Programme may be accepted into the Law programme.
