Job Title: General Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's operations to achieve sales and profitability targets. This position will be primarily responsible for implementing the company's annual business plan and growing the business in line with the corporate strategy plans.
Key Responsibilities/Skills: -
• Prepare the company's annual business plan
• Implement the company's business plan and sales strategies
• Oversee company operations as regards the factory, sales, marketing, human resources, finance and administration
• Develop and manage relationships with distributors and customers
• Oversee the management of the product brands to ensure achievement of market share targets per product
• Champion the company's expansion into new markets Institute a workplace culture of excellence and efficiency based on staff KPIs, policies, processes and procedures
• Provide management reports to the MD as required
Other Requirements: -
• First Degree from a reputable institution
• An MBA will be an added advantage
• A minimum of 15 years experience in the FMCG sector
• Track record of successful management of significant budgets
• Must possess strong sales and marketing background
