It is difficult to know which link is secure enough from our daily browsing. If one was to test every link through some of the available online test sites before clicking, then you would imagine how boring and time consuming using internet would be.
Some of the ways of ensuring one is safe or able to escape the attacks are as follows:
- Use link authenticatorfor instance WOT(Web Of Trust) and monitor the colour indicated when about to click a link.
- If you realize you are on an insecure site, close the whole browser not just the tab.
- Remember to perform full computer scan.
