Job Title: Applications Pre-Sales Consultant (EPM solutions)

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITITES

Application Consultant for EPM solutions is a key role in driving the success of Oracle EPM business in MEA region. This role is crucial in supporting the developing business in this region.

SCOPE:

• Become the internal expert for Oracle EPM solutions and acquisitions.

• Supporting the Sales organization in standard Presales activities such as but not limited to

   Providing responses to Requests for Information/Proposals,

   Preparing Solution Demonstration by translating our customer´s business needs into Oracle solutions

   Preparing presentations in the area of expertise

   Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to customers using the latest web technology.

   Educate partners and the sales force on latest Oracle technologies and solutions

   Keep up to date regarding the latest technologies and solutions from both Oracle and its competitors.

   Working with the virtual EPM teams within the EMEA Region, supporting other countries for presales delivery

   High travel requirements

• The ideal candidate has significant experience of positioning operational transformation solutions with Oracle's EPM solutions, and has knowledge of Oracle Solution Offerings in the Hyperion applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for presales work on Oracle Hyperion EPM Solutions (mainly Planning and Financial Close Solutions) (requirements meetings and understanding of the customer's needs, preparation, presentation and demonstration of our solution).

• Should be able to work on the solutions hands on

• Analyse customer requirements, and define the solution sets accordingly

• Leader of the Hyperion EPM solutions internally and educate account managers and partners on the benefits and selling points for Hyperion EPM Solutions

• Development of sales/presales and demo materials to address the specific needs business requirements

• Delivery of all above within the home base country and approximately up to 50% of time outside the home country within the region EMEA

KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in performing pre sales activity in a similar company, or having experience in Customer or Consulting Company with EPM implementation skills

• Knowing major issues that companies face with their Budget/Planning/Forecasting/Consolidation processes

• Experience of liaison with CFO/FD level members and sell of internal project within a company

• Having finance and accounting background is a plus.

• Self motivated individual with strong customer interaction and presentation skills. Can interpret and address customer needs

• Understands the implications of technology on both development and market opportunities. Be able to articulate the benefits and differentiators of Hyperion's products and positioning

• Educated to degree level in a business-related or technical discipline.

Education / Qualifications

• University Degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering. MBA is a plus

Experience / Technical / Professional knowledge

• Good knowledge and understanding of the IT market

• Experience in performing pre sales activity in a similar company, or having experience in Customer or Consulting company with EPM implementation skills

• Experience of large integrated systems advantageous

• Previous experience in a support or customer facing role

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills

• Ability to work in a pressurized environment

• Ability to speak Arabic and English would be advantageous

• Demonstrates awareness of the audience's receptivity and uses appropriate techniques to illustrate key points

• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the competitive environment and successfully preempts objections.

• Sources current competitive information to develop competitive strategies
