Purpose:
• The Senior Electrical Commissioning & Start-up Engineer reports directly to the Head of Commissioning & Start-Up, and shall be responsible for the Greenfield and Brownfield electrical pre-commissioning & commissioning activities and asset integrity assurance in the Deepwater Projects Organization.
• He shall also ensure proper selection and specification requirements for electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with HSE and sustainable development requirements and consideration of life cycle issues.
Experience and Qualifications required:
• Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years post graduation relevant electrical commissioning experience.
• Strong conceptual innovative thinking with technical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and deliver results through others.
• Well-developed interpersonal relationship and communications skills are paramount for success. Inter-cultural awareness is a requirement.
• Personal effectiveness and ability to work and deliver with minimal supervision.
• Broad knowledge of the other disciplines such as process, technical safety, instrumentation, control & automation, mechanical and civil/structural engineering will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of maintenance and integrity issues in the full life cycle of electrical equipment.
• Experience in operational support.
