Job Summary:
• The Maintenance Support Officer (MSO) has the on-site technical supervisory responsibility for the coordination of all retail sales equipment maintenance activities, receiving and issuing new spare parts to the Branch Pump Mechanics, repairs of retrieved faulty dispensing pumps and ensuring that the required standards of servicing and maintenance are achieved cost effectively through control of resources.
• He/she is responsible for the installation/commission of brand new dispensing pumps and implementation of approved maintenance project plans.
Position and Person specifications:
• Good 1st degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or any other relevant field of Engineering from a recognised University.
• Minimum of Second Class Lower required with at least 3 years cognate experience in the Oil and Gas workshop environment in the role of a coordinator.
• The position requires an individual that is mature, highly analytical with good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• In addition, he/she will be required to possess skills in fabrication and assembly of equipments, a good understanding of the dispensing pump industry and must be willing to travel to sites on short notice.
