Job Summary:
• The VMI/LPG/Warehouse Engineer is responsible for ensuring optimal availability of all VMI/LPG/Warehouse operating assets according to industry/Environmental Health and Safety standards and regulations.
• In addition, he/she will be required to diagnose engineering problems and excellent knowledge of relevant standards, codes and specifications for calibration of vertical tanks, underground tanks, flow meters, weighing scales, weighing bridges and other equipment.
Position and Person specifications:
• Good 1st degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or any other relevant field of Engineering from a recognised University.
• Minimum of Second Class Lower is required with at least 5 years maintenance experience within the downstream Oil and Gas industry.
• Professional membership is an added advantage
• The position requires an individual that is highly result-oriented with experience of fluid flow measurement and instrumentation particularly the requirements for metering calibration and verification.
• Past experience and good working knowledge of downstream Oil and Gas Warehouse, Terminal and Plant operations will be an added advantage.
