Title: $240m Scam: EFCC summons Shell MD, seven Panalpina Officials

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Monday summoned the Managing Director of Shell Petroleum Development Company(SPDC), Mr. Peter Robinson and seven officials of Panalpina, over alleged $240 million bribe scandal.

Also, two foreigners and eight Nigerian officials working in the company are expected to appear before the commission today in Abuja over investigation into $180million bribery scam.

Investigation by The Nation showed that Shell Managing Director  were invited over scandal over importation of oil drilling equipment for the Royal Dutch Shell.

It was learnt that the invitation has brought the number of officials of Panalpina being quizzed to 18.

A highly-placed source, who spoke in confidence, said: "The Shell MD and Panalpina officials are to report on Tuesday (today) for interaction on the alleged $240m bribe scandal.
