Job description:
We are looking for a professional, results-oriented sales person with a proven track record to take responsibility for sales of the Business Analytics solution portfolio in your assigned territory in the West Africa.
Business Analytics is a comprehensive portfolio of business intelligence, advanced analytics, financial performance and strategy management and analytic applications that provide the customer with a clear, immediate and actionable insight into current performance and the ability to predict future outcomes.
As the Business Analytics professional for IBM West Africa you will be expected to take ownership and accountability for driving business in your assigned territory by – • Developing a network of customer contacts and meeting regularly to identify, progress and close sales opportunities in line with the Sales Plan and in a timely manner
• Work with Teams on the development of solutions to customer business requirements by providing brand portfolio expertise and, where appropriate, in a leadership role
• Submit accurate, comprehensive and current inputs to the territory sales forecasting process, using the recognized tools provided for this purpose
• Interact with and help develop the Business Partner ecosystem in order to maximize their business results
• Engage, negotiate with and influence C-level Executives and decision-makers
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years experience in proven commercial experience in high-performance transactional solution selling with consistent year-over-year quota achievement with Business Analytics products (Cognos, Business Intelligence)
• At least 5 years experience in Finance sector knowledge and experience with working knowledge of the Office of Finance, Budgeting/Forecasting and Accountancy principles
• At least 5 years experience in identifying viable new markets in which to sell software.
• At least 5 years experience in software solutions selling
• English: Fluent
Preferred:
• Other Sciences
