Purpose of Job:
Manage the counterparty credit risks associated with Corporate and Investment Banking Division's lending and trading activities for Corporate counterparties, with the primary objective to contain risk within acceptable parameters.
Key Performance Areas:
Evaluation of credit applications:
• Effective provision of high-quality analyses and recommendations;
• Effective balance of credit risk relative to expected returns;
• Presentation of applications at Credit Committee level, where required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Confident effective communication with internal and external clients
• Energetic and passionate about his/her job
• Ability to operate under a matrix reporting system
• Achievement/closure and "make it happen" orientated
• The ability to work effectively under pressure
• Solutions orientated
Requirements:
1) Qualifications: Commerce related degree essential. Post-graduate degree beneficial
2) Experience: Background in credit (minimum 3 years experience) being part of a high performing team. Specialist skills in project finance, leveraged lending and structured trade finance transactions desirable.
