One of the five members of the House of Representatives whose suspension was voided by an Abuja High Court last week was shocked to discover that his office had been reassigned to another legislator.

He failed to reclaim the office.

Hon. Dino Melaye got to the National Assembly around 12.30 pm and proceeded to his office at No. 0.40 (ground floor) of the House new wing of the National Assembly complex.

But he met a brickwall in his attempt to enter the office which he occupied before his suspension.

Melaye stormed out in annoyance.

Findings showed that his office and those of others  who suffered the same fate with him,  had been reallocated to new occupants.

Melaye's office was reallocated to his kinsman and Chairman, House Committee on Capital Market, Hon Buba Jibril, representing Lokoja, Kogi State. Melaye is also an Okun Yoruba from Kogi.
