IBM Mauritius is seeking a Sales Specialist for it's highly successful unix servers which are named: "Power".
As the Power sales specialist, you will be representing the most successful server offerings from one the most admired brands to a set of highly professional customers.
The successful candidate will be accountable for sales achievements and customer satisfaction in her/his customer segment. This will include territory management and professionally adhering to IBM sales and business processes.
The role will also require consistent pipeline growth of new opportunities and will require business development skills as well as a strong understanding of how Power deals are transacted through channel partners to end customers.
Other duties will include account planning, call planning leadership and working pro-actively with the business units of IBM locally as well as internationally.
The job consists of a large variety of tasks which include:
• Constantly planning and carrying out "face to face" sales meetings with customers and business partners.
• Regularly planning and executing the sales strategies and objectives for the territory / business unit.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical sales knowledge in the specialty offerings, along with financial selling skills.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor's offerings, strategies, and plans. Effectively articulate IBM strengths from competitive alternatives and create customer preference for IBM offerings, based on these differentiators
• Effectively negotiate with multiple levels management within the assigned customer set resulting in the successful closing of transactions.
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years experience in Planning and carrying out face to face sales meetings with customers and business partners
• At least 3 years experience in Planning and executing the sales strategies and objectives for the territory
• At least 3 years experience in Negotiating with multiple level management
• English: Fluent
Preferred:
• Engineering
