IBM Tivoli Smarter Physical Infrastructure Solutions requires one Travel & Transportation (T&T) Subject Matter Expert and one Energy & Utilities SME , to continue to grow our MEA-wide Industry Specialist Tiger Team. In these roles you will join a Senior team that drives opportunity identification and development with Business Executives who will benefit from the implementation of IBM's Smarter solutions.
Our clients range from Airports to Power, Water & Electricity suppliers. IBM Maximo enables Smarter T&T and E&U through more efficient integration, documentation and change management. IBM Maximo, based on start of the art technology, provides a platform for our clients to integrate other systems through SOA (service orientated architecture) as well as the integration, exchange and documentation of data....to work "smarter".
We are looking to secure Subject Matter Experts (SME's) in T&T or E&U with:
• Deep expertise in the operational and maintenance challenges presented in the T&T or E&U Industries
• Extensive Industry contacts across the Middle East & Africa region
• Smarter , industry vertical software solutions
You will anticipate, create and define innovative and visionary industry solutions for leading edge or critical customer business requirements. Maximo EAM Solutions address the most strategic requirements of our customers.
Interfacing with colleagues around the world, you will understand successful approaches to the market and replicate them in MEA. This role requires a thorough understanding of the nature of the business problems in the given industries. By providing overall leadership to drive the success of the Tivoli (Maximo) Enterprise Asset Management Industry Portfolio, you will develop an effective strategy for gaining mindshare with geographically dispersed Tivoli Portfolio representatives to ensure they are able to identify T&T and E&U Industry opportunities in their territories.
Key attributes for a successful professional in this role include proven business development expertise with the ability to identify and develop opportunities for Smarter Transport or Utilities, as well as the creation and management of high Executive-level customer relationships. The strength of your business relationships both internally within IBM and externally with our clients will enable you to represent complex and difficult solutions to Executives.
Your career history to date:
• T&T or U&E industry expertise – minimum 5 years – knowledge of industry standards, best practices and previous general consulting and/or software services delivery
• Minimum 10 years within your industry vertical
• Knowledge of our Maximo Enterprise Asset Management portfolio and the value it delivers to our clients
• Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management competitors
• Expertise in 'Return on Investment' and Software 'Solution Selling'
• Proven Business Unit and C-Level relationships
Position Criteria:
• Travel – 50%
• Language: Mandatory – Fluent English
Required:
• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 6 months experience in Maximo product knowledge
• At least 5 years experience in Software Solution Sales
• English: Fluent
Preferred:
• Information Technology
