General Muhammadu Buhari's running mate in the 2011 presidential election on CPC platform Pastor Tunde Bakare was yesterday quizzed by the State Security Services (SSS) in connection with his utterance asking President Goodluck Jonathan to resign or face the consequences.
Bakare's media aide, Yinka Odumakin, told Daily Trust shortly after they left Lagos SSS office yesterday that Bakare was not arrested as he was only invited for a chat and "he is out of the place".
He said the interview with the SSS officials took about one hour, 10 minutes having arrived at the office at about 3:10pm and left 4:20pm.
Bakare had on Sunday said President Jonathan's combination of naivety and amorality is as profound as it is injurious to the health of this country.
