AKURE—Former Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Olu Agunloye, yesterday, reacted to comments by National Chairman of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Chief Bisi Akande, that he was a mole in the party.
Agunloye, who just defected to Labour Party, described Akande's comment as unfortunate and disappointing. He said ACN was full of deceit.
Speaking at the second term declaration of Governor Olusegun Mimiko in Akure, Wednesday, Agunloye said he left the party in protest over the imposition of the party's candidate, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu.
Also, spokesperson, Mr. Wemi Ajegbemiga, Agunloye's Omoluabi Campaign Organisation said: "If Agunloye was a mole, why did leaders of the party including Bola Tinubu beg him not to leave their party."
