It has been clarified that with the release of Windows 8, Laptops or computers having it installed will be able to support gesture control. This technology is developed by PointGrab company in Israel. There are similar applications of gesture control embedded on TV Sets varying from one manufacturer to another.
With this application, waving your hand one way changes channels and adjusting the volume can be performed just by drawing a circle and so on. The product works with a standard camera and the software uses less than 1% of the power of i3.
Since windows 8 is based on gestures as much is performed by pointing and clicking, it is good for systems like PointGrab.
The video is a brief demonstration hosted by cnet. Very intresting ... Take a look.
