Job Description
OUTPUTS
Services and information which the individual must provide to external individuals or groups, or one another to accomplish the organization's mission and strategy.
• Manage channel information, identify opportunities and accurately package opportunities for sales purposes
• Market Research, Planning and Positioning – Work and plan with the sales teams to research industry and client spend, develop client specific media plans; prepare monthly newsletters to clients to position available opportunities
• Campaign Management – Be responsible for sales planning including lead generation and management
• Sell/Assist in selling specific DStv ATL & BTL opportunities to the advertising industry
• Account Management and Customer Service – Build and foster positive client relationships and internal relationships to deliver quality and value to our clients
• Business Development – Build an industry network, improve sector and business knowledge of the opportunities on the DStv platform , identify and develop new business opportunities
• To maximize revenue potential across all relevant properties
• To liaise with all internal and external clients
• Achieve budgets within the designate area of responsibility
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and agencies
Any other duties as required by the line manager

• Over 5 Years Sales experience
• Sales / Marketing or any sales related tertiary qualification
• Knowledge of the advertising industry

• Media experience – ideally Television
• Fully computer literate (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
